All traditional Tea comes from the plant Camellia Senensis which is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree whose leaves and leaf buds are used to produce tea.
All traditional TEA comes from this bush, the difference between Black, Green, White depends on how the leaf is processed.
White tea is from a younger leaf & in spite of its name, brewed white tea is pale yellow. Its name derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the teaplant, which give the plant a whitish appearance. The unopened buds are used for some types of white tea.
White tea contains a high amount of antioxidants, as well as polyphenols, flavonoids, and tannins. These nutritional benefits have a positive effect on our health and well being.
